Fort Wayne Magazine’s People of the Year: Audrey Davis

[Audrey,] you and your teams worked tirelessly to create solidarity circles of local pastors and church core team members to talk, coach and inform them about policies to look out for. But, despite your expertise and experience, you were open to learning more and understanding the world better.

From protest to policy

We are part of a statewide network called Faith in Indiana. In addition to deeds of mercy, we are acting together to pursue justice.

‘It’s disheartening’: Councilors press for reform of K-9 unit

Rena Allen, a community organizer with Faith in Indiana, said she grew angry after seeing that IMPD was responsible for the highest rate of dog bites among large departments. It hurt even more to see that police dogs were disproportionately biting Black residents.
