Faith in Indiana held a vigil and march to a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants across the state.

The march began at Monument Circle downtown and ended at U.S. Sen. Mike Braun’s North Pennsylvania Street office.

“We need our elected leaders to stand up for our undocumented brothers and sisters, many of whom have had to continue working during the pandemic as essential workers, and yet were not able to receive as much financial support as they should have,” Rosie Bryant, Faith in Indiana’s lead organizer, said in a news release before the event. “They deserve to be protected in the state where they live and pay taxes, and know that their lives and the lives of their families won’t be compromised when and if they can’t support their families.”
